Here are a couple of my panorama photographs taken along the road on my return from Yosemite National Park. We missed out on Bodie Ghost Town due to the snow that had not yet melted. I was pretty upset about it because we traveled about 12 hours out of the way just to photograph the ghost town. We left Yosemite and had to go up and around Tioga Pass due to the snow and ice. I had no idea Bodie ever closed, we even spoke to our hotel and they never said a word about it. Another highlight in the area is Mono Lake, but photography was out of the question there, the winds were blowing around 70 mph. So the last 2 days of this trip were a bust when it came to photography, however I was with my family and we had a really great time together. My son is getting older, and it is harder and harder to get his attention these days. So the time spent without interruption was very rewarding.
This was just before I-6 meets I-95 in Nevada.
This last image is from the Valley of fire just north of Las Vegas.
(I like the road that passes thru the image on the left)
