When the 2012 NFL pre-season was just about to end I was hired to photograph the last pre-season practice and Peyton Manning interview. For 3 days I got to hang out at the Denver Broncos practice field with several NFL photographers and reporters. It was pretty exciting to see the new Denver Broncos team emerge with some great talent both new and old. The Broncos showed they were ready for this season when they beat the Pittsburgh Steelers. Peyton Manning has definitely brought a ray of sunshine and fresh perspective to the Denver Broncos Camp. With Manning’s leadership the Broncos seem to have come together by adding some new plays, bringing new talent and honing the skills of the seasoned veterans on the squad. Photographing the practice is much easier than a game because you get several chances to capture your shot. The only down side to practice photography is the time limit, many times they limit photography to only 10 minutes each day. They don’t want anyone capturing those all secret plays and sharing with anyone else, who can blame them?
Here are the articles that ran with my photos, unless you can read French they are just images.
